Lauren Sharp's Captaincy message for 2021

I am both delighted and honoured to have been chosen as the Junior Girls’ County Captain for 2021. I am grateful for the opportunity to help the county develop and flourish as it has done every year under the brilliant work of the past captains. I look forward to working with Kirsten and helping Anne in supporting all the junior girls both old and new at all levels as I know I have been supported during the last 6 years. Without the county programme, county teams and guidance of the county ladies, I would not be who I am today as a golfer. It has helped me a lot and I look forward to being able to give back to the county that has given me so much. Let's hope 2021 will be a better and successful season for all the county girls and that they will continue to perform and do our county proud.

Kirsten Porte's Captaincy message for 2021

Having been involved with the Worcestershire & Herefordshire Junior Girls development and county team for many years, I am extremely honoured to be chosen as the Junior Girls County Captain for 2021.  

I am excited to work alongside Lauren, Anne and the other county ladies to encourage and assist the girls to excel at the game. I understand that a welcoming team environment is extremely important for success, and I hope that I can help to provide support based on my previous experience, especially in the introduction of new team members to competitive county golf. I am sure we are all looking forward to the season ahead and returning back to golf, hoping that we can have yet another amazing season!
